Challenge Cup "Cdt Grangé" - 8th edition

Our annual "25m Sport Pistol Match" was held at the Avia Offenberg Shooting Club in Florennes on Oct 18th.  About 30 shooters took part under which two Dutch colleagues. Three shooters were leading after the precision fire (PF) stage: 1QC Michiels Daniël (282 Pts), AJM Marique Jean-Luc (281 Pts) and Adjt Kok Dirk (NED) with 281 Pts. Last years winner, 1SC Rynkens Hendrik, was following in 4th place with 276 Pts. While the best of the PF stage were weakening in the second half of the rapid Fire (RF) stage, Rik became outstanding and finished with a 48-50-49, totalising 285 Pts in RF.
Ones again, Rik won this match with 561 Pts, two points ahead of Adjt Kok. Adjt Pirotte Didier was able keep up with Adjt Dirk Kok in RF and ended in third place.

R-CISM Pistol NED

The Pistol tournament was organized at the Heumensoord shooting range in Nijmegen. Pistol Teams from Germany, Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Netherlands and Latvia were present. For this competition, 2 sets of 5 electronic scoring targets were used (Sius-Ascor). Since there were 23 competitors (16 male + 7 female), three relays were necessary. The organisation had to keep on going all day through (no breaks at all) in order to be ready by darkness. The Dutch Pistol Team, reinforced with retired team members and some volunteers from the armed forces did a good job. The weather unfortunately, was dark, cold, windy and wet. It surely influenced the results, especially during the MRF team Match on Thursday morning.
We managed to be in third place in MRF. AJM Marique became third in MRF individual.
