Cramer Revolver Match 2012

This years edition of the Dutch Match was won by Adjt Pirotte Didier (BEL). In this Center Fire Pistol Match, Didier scored 559 Pts (276+283). In second place, we notice Maj Klok Ed (Dutch Nat Mil Team), he shot 552 Pts (277+275). 1CC Haenebalcke Patrick came in 6th place with 530 Pts (270+260).

The Match was shot on two new sets of electronic scoring targets
(Sius Ascor).

New Pistol Gunsmith

Our gunsmith since 2008, 1CC Meesschaert Luc, left the active service last April. Luc did a marvelous job in the team. The pistol shooters were very pleased with his work. Earlier this year we took officially leave of Luc.

Adjt Delhaye Pascal, an arms instructor of our Logistic School, took over.

President CSC Shooting passed away.

Col Josef Fischlin (SUI), President of  "CISM Shooting Committee", passed away on Monday, 23th April 2012. His funeral took place on Wednesday, May 2nd. Josef lost  his fight against cancer. 
Col Fischlin was a member of CSC Shooting through the years of 2000 until 2003 and eventually took over the presidency of CSC Shooting by January, 1st 2004.

CISM Day Run 2012

We were there!

Pistol Team Start Day 2012

On Wednesday Feb 15th, the annual Team gathering took place in Brussels. The individual equipment was checked. The Team & Individual results 2011 were evaluated. This year's program & directives were enlightened.
We welcomed a new team member, 1SC Henrion Jean-Lou.
We took leave of 1CC Deruytter Brigitte and 1CC Hooghe Edouard. Both were member since 1998. Brigitte participated in two World Championships, before the women's team was abolished in 2004. She was able to join again in 2010. Due to elbow injuries however, shooting accurately has become impossible for her. Edouard was selected six times for a World Championship. Being close to early retiring, he leaves the team. Both were rewarded a CISM Medal.
In 2011, OLt Vl Leurs Eline shot two new military records: one in Sport Pistol (566 Pts) and one in MRF (562 Pts). The old records were shot by Brigitte in 1999.

Challenge Cup Cdt Grangé

The 7th Edition of the "Challenge Cup Cdt Grangé" was held on Sep 15th at Florennes, on the AOC shooting range. The days before, we initiated new candidates for the team. The night before the match, the dutch team joined us. Their team however, was not at full strength & size. Nevertheless, we enjoyed there company & competition.

Old time shooter 1SC Rynkens Rik won the Center Fire Pistol Match with 564 Pts (278+286), before AJM Marique Jean-Luc with 555 Pts (287+268). 1QC Daniël Michiels took third place with 551 Pts (275+276).

One candidate for the team, passed the limit of 500 Pts: 1SC Henrion Jean-Lou shot 514 Pts (including one miss, 261+253) and will join the team in 2012.

Once more, we thank Marc, Armand, Guy & Manu for their enthusiasm, work and dedication.
